PERSIAN STYLE PILAF


                           Ingredients

  • Chopped onion- 1
  • Dried apricots- 4
  • Raisins- 2tbsp
  • Almonds- 8-10
  • Diced green bell pepper- 1
  • Olive oil
  • Rice
  • Turmeric powder- 1tsp
  • Salt
  • Black pepper powder
  • Water
                              Procedure
  1. Soak dry apricot, reisin, almonds in water so that they are puffed up
  2. Chopped the soaked dry fruits into pieces
  3. Boil water in a pan and add rice
  4. Sieve the boiled rice
  5. Heat olive oil in a pan and fry the onions and bell peppers
  6. Season with turmeric powder, salt and black pepper powder
  7. Cook on a low flame for 4-5 minutes
  8. Add boiled rice and chopped dry fruits
  9. Cover the lid and simmer for couple of minutes
  10. Serve hot on plate with gosht boti kebab
