MOMOS WITH FRIED EGGS

Yes!!!!! Momos and fried eggs together sounds different isn't it. But delicious things come in a small package, just like these momos. Spike it up with perfectly cooked sunny side up egg.

                            Ingredients

  • Oil- 2 tsp
  • Sesame oil- 2 tsp
  • Ginger- 1tsp
  • Onion- 2 tsp
  • Chopped cashew nuts- 2 tsp
  • Carrots- 2 tsp
  • Finely chopped frenc beans- 2 tsp
  • Mushroom- 2 tsp
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Soya sauce- 1/2 tsp
  • Water
  • Tofu- 200g
  • Sprout- 2 tsp
  • Chopped spring onion- 3 tsp
  • Egg- 2
  • Baking soda- 1/4 tsp
  • Oil- 1/2 tsp
  • Refined flour
                             Procedure
  FOR THE FILLING
  1. Heat oil in a saucepan, add sesame oil, chopped onion, ginger, cashew nuts, carrots, french beans and mushrooms
  2. Add pepper, soya sauce and water into it
  3. Cook on low flame
  4. Then add tofu into it
  5. Mix well
  6. Sprinkle salt after adding mushroom, it will help to cook the ingredients fast
  7. Transfer the filling mixture into a plate and keep it in fridge for sometime
  FOR THE DOUGH
  1. In a mixing bowl add refined flour,egg, salt, baking soda and water
  2.  Keep kneading the flour
  3. Next add oil and continue to knead until it becomes soft
  4. Allow it to rest for 10 minutes
  5. Break the dough into small pieces and hand roll into small balls
  6. Roll each mini dough balls as thin as you can
  7. Cut the dough with a round shaped cookie cutter
  8. Then spread the stuffing in it and cover it with another round shaped dough
  9. Seal them together
  10. Make design at the edges with the help of a spoon
  11. Cook the momos in the syeaste for 7-8 minutes
  12. Transfer the momos from the steamer to a flat pan and cook it with oil
  13. In the same pan fry a half fried egg
  14. Serve the momos on the plate and top it with half fried egg
  15. Garnish with spring onion and sesame oil.
